Also, the colors do not clash. I also like Ellitt's page because it is easy to read and look at and is pretty interesting. Lastly, I like Bart's site because the pictures are interesting, and I found out interesting information that I didn't know already.

I like Xin's stumper because it is symmetrical and has a lot included in the picture. I also like Katie's picture because it is symmetrical and different from any picture I would have considered taking, which makes it interesting. Lastly, I liked Mary-Alice's stumper because it was a colorful and unique picture. It looked like something that might be in a calender.

Stumper 1
Stumper 2
Stumper 3

Web Page 1
Web Page 2
Web Page 3

My Website

My Website tells a bit about me. These risks may include not citing a source or not asking the creator permission to use his or her work. An other's work may be used without permission under two general circumstances: when the work is being commented on and when the work is being summarized in reporting. However, in these instances there must be some sort of credit given to the original creator, rather than the information being adopted as the secondary party's own work. There are times when work can be used without citing the source or asking for permission to use it. This is the case when a work is in the public domain or when the information is supplied by the government. The public domain includes all government works and works specifically given to the public domain by the creator. Some older works are included as well, but caution must be used when determining whether an old work is in the public domain or not because sometimes it is difficult to be sure. Finally, there are times when using someone else's work must be preceded by the creator giving specific, written permission. If the use of someone else's work is premeditated rather than relatively spontaneous, permission is required. This means that if use of a work is planned in far enough advance to acquire permission, then it must be acquired. These are guidelines for when a work can be used without permission, with citation, and with permission.

Emergence of Web 2.0

After reading Time's Magazine's "Time's Person of the Year: You", I think that the future of Web 2.0 is a bright one because people will never stop being curious about other human beings and what other people think. Also, there will be an endless need for human interaction and expression, especially in the younger people of society. Web 2.0 opens provides the necessary tools to satisfy these needs, which is why it has exploded and gained such widespread popularity so quickly. The idea of Web 2.0 is similar to the idea of the Internet. The Internet has made it possible to easily interact with people anywhere in the world, which is both interesting and convenient for everyone. This is exactly how Web 2.0 can be explained. It provides mediums for people to learn from each other, and even learn about themselves, without leaving their home.

I strongly agree with the beginning and ends of the article. History has been dominated by the actions of the rich and famous, or ordinary people that have done something extraordinary. Now, it is possible for everyone to be a part of the progression of the human race through the use of Web 2.0 and the contributions, however small, that are made towards a cause. Furthermore, as previously stated, Web 2.0 provides a convenient way for people to feed their curiosity about the rest of the world and the people that inhabit it by simply turning on the Internet and accessing information and videos concerning the topic of choice.
Patrick Cunagin

Previous Microsoft Word Experience

My previous experience with word is limited to what was needed for writing papers. There has never been a need for things such as what has been done for this class, but I like Office 2007 and it's working pretty well so far. One thing I would like to touch on in class is the "Tabs and Tab Stops" section in chapter 3.

Patrick Cunagin

Getting Acquainted

My name is Patrick Alistair Cunagin, and I'm from College Station, TX, the home of Texas A&M for those of you who don't know exactly where that is. People call me Pat, PK, Patty, anything really. I am the youngest in a family of four with one 21 year old brother who goes to Arizona State University but will be studying in Poland for his senior year. I've played soccer since I was four years old, and I'll be playing soccer for Trinity. I also like to do pretty much anything outside, especially at the beach or in the mountains. I intend to pick a major having to do with business. My computer experience is limited to an introductory class last year in high school and what I managed to teach myself growing up and using basic computer skills. Finally, I have a roommate from Brazil and a hall mate from China. Thanks.

Patrick A. Cunagin
